CFTC: S&P 500 index net short positions decrease

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) reported that as of the week ending November 3, stock fund speculators reduced their net short positions in the CME S&P 500 Index by 27,501 contracts, to 345,246 contracts.
