Thailand will block access to the Bitget platform starting from December 5

According to an announcement from the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission, the agency has filed a criminal complaint against BG Limited, the operator of Bitget, for allegedly operating a digital asset trading business without permission, and has notified the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society to block access to the Bitget platform starting from December 5.

The regulatory agency stated that Bitget provided digital asset trading services and charged fees between 2022 and 2025, promoting its services through a Thai language website and social media. The agency also filed a complaint against an individual suspected of assisting in promoting the platform.
