New York startup Birch Hill has completed a $4 million seed round financing, led by Multicoin Capital

According to Decrypt, New York startup Birch Hill announced the completion of a $4 million seed round financing, led by Multicoin Capital, with participation from ParaFi Capital, Castle Island Ventures, and Nascent. To date, the company has raised a total of $6.5 million.

Birch Hill currently serves as the treasury manager for the on-chain lending protocol Morpho, responsible for assessing credit risk and setting relevant risk parameters. At the same time, the company has applied for broker-dealer qualifications with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) to sell private credit products to qualified investors, planning to package and securitize U.S. multifamily residential, agricultural, and energy loans for on-chain introduction.
