Helius CEO Mert Mumtaz joins the NEAR Foundation Board of Directors

According to The Block, Mert Mumtaz, the CEO of Solana infrastructure company Helius, has officially joined the NEAR Foundation Council, where he will assist in guiding product strategy, ecosystem growth, and governance.

Current council members include NEAR co-founder Illia Polosukhin, Anchorage Digital co-founder Diogo Mónica, among others. Mumtaz was previously an early user of NEAR Intents, which he referred to as "a marketplace of marketplaces."
