Breed VC raised $15 million for its second cryptocurrency fund, with participation from FalconX and others

Breed VC has raised $15 million for its second cryptocurrency fund, with investors including FalconX, Hutt Capital, Arrington Capital, as well as Nic Carter from Castle Island Ventures, Rob Hadick from Dragonfly, and Jake Brukhman from CoinFund.

The fund primarily invests in cryptocurrency startups at the Day Zero, Pre-Seed, and Seed stages, with individual investments ranging from $250,000 to $750,000, focusing on open financial infrastructure and decentralized AI, with plans to complete deployment in the next 3 to 4 years. Breed VC's first fund was launched in 2023 and has completed its investments, with a portfolio that includes Monad, Ethena, Agora, MyPrize, and Nous Research.
