According to Jinshi reports, Interactive Investor analyst Richard Hunter stated in a report that as some markets in Europe, Asia, and the Americas are about to welcome the Easter long weekend, investors may face further sell-offs of risk assets such as stocks and corporate bonds for precautionary reasons.

He pointed out that traders are unlikely to hold positions before the long weekend, as they have been caught off guard by sudden events multiple times before. U.S. President Trump warned in a national address on Wednesday that the Middle East conflict could escalate in the next two to three weeks, leading to a decline in market risk appetite.
