Ark Invest, under Wood's leadership, has added OpenAI shares to its series of funds

According to Bloomberg, Cathie Wood has added OpenAI to the ARKK, ARKF, and ARKW funds. Each fund is reported to hold about 3% of the shares, allowing retail investors to directly invest in one of the hottest private companies in the world.

Ark Invest officially announced its holdings in OpenAI through its ARK Venture Fund (a private VC fund) in 2024 and has increased its holdings multiple times (including $250 million in October 2024).
