According to Hurriyet Daily News, the Turkish parliament has removed the tax provisions related to crypto assets during the review of the comprehensive bill.

The deleted provisions would have imposed a 0.3% transaction tax on the sale and transfer of crypto assets conducted through service providers and taxed cryptocurrency gains, primarily through withholding at the source. Although these provisions have been removed from the current draft, officials have stated that a revised version may be reintroduced to the parliament in the form of a separate legislative proposal.
