미국 텍사스주 주지사 그레그 애벗(Greg Abbott)이 BTC 전략 비축 법안(SB 21)에 공식 서명했다고 블룸버그가 보도했다. 이에 따라 텍사스는 BTC를 준비자산으로 도입한 미국 최대 규모의 주정부가 됐다. 해당 법안은 주정부가 향후 직접 투자할 수 있는 펀드를 마련하는 동시에, 텍사스를 기술 혁신 및 암호화폐 산업 중심지로 육성하려는 전략 일환으로 추진됐다.
