French AI company AMI Labs completes $1.03 billion financing, led by Greycroft and others

Former Meta Platforms Chief AI Scientist Yann LeCun's artificial intelligence company "Advanced Machine Intelligence Labs" (AMI Labs) announced the completion of a $1.03 billion financing round, led by Cathay Innovation, Greycroft, Hiro Capital, HV Capital, and Bezos Expeditions, along with participation from other investors and angel investors from around the world. This round of financing has raised the valuation of the French company to $3.5 billion.
Yann LeCun stated that AMI Labs aims to develop an artificial intelligence with intelligence comparable to that of adult humans, capable of reasoning, planning, understanding the physical world, and learning autonomously from very few samples.
