Ripple incorporates Coinbase's crypto futures products into its clearing platform Ripple Prime

According to CoinDesk, Ripple announced that its clearing platform Ripple Prime's institutional clients can now trade all cryptocurrency futures products listed on Coinbase Derivatives, including futures contracts for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and XRP, with clearing provided by the U.S. clearing agency Nodal Clear.

The Ripple Prime platform had a clearing transaction volume exceeding $3 trillion in 2025. This expansion builds on Ripple's acquisition of the futures commission merchant and major broker Hidden Road for $1.25 billion last year, which is now integrated into Ripple Prime, offering brokerage, clearing, and financing services across multiple asset classes. This move reflects the growing demand from institutions for regulated crypto derivatives.
