Bitcoin mining company IREN has purchased an additional 50,000 NVIDIA B300 GPUs

Bitcoin mining company IREN Limited (NASDAQ: IREN) announced the purchase of an additional 50,000 NVIDIA B300 GPUs, bringing the total number of GPUs to 150,000. IREN has become one of the largest AI infrastructure providers in the world.

IREN was previously included in the MSCI US Index after the close of the US stock market on February 27, marking another Bitcoin-centric company entering the mainstream stock index system. Inclusion in the index typically means an influx of automatic allocation funds from passive funds and enhances visibility among institutional investors.
