Coincheck announced that it has completed the acquisition of approximately 99.8% equity in the Canadian digital asset management company 3iQ

According to Business Wire, Coincheck Group N.V. announced that it has completed the acquisition of approximately 99.8% equity in the Canadian digital asset management company 3iQ Corp.

Founded in 2012, 3iQ launched Canada's first compliant digital asset funds, North America's first listed Bitcoin and Ethereum funds, the world's first Ethereum staking ETF, Solana staking ETF, and spot XRP ETF, and operates the digital asset custody account platform QMAP. This acquisition follows Coincheck's previous acquisitions of institutional crypto broker Aplo SAS and staking service platform Next Finance, and will be used to strengthen its global expansion in areas such as institutional clients, ETFs, and staking services, while exploring revenue and business synergies with existing subsidiaries.
