The chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), Mike Selig, stated in an interview with Fox that the cryptocurrency market structure bill is about to be signed into law. He said, "We want to ensure that the legal framework for cryptocurrency can adapt to future developments. We cannot allow a second Gary Gensler to come in and ruin everything."
