TRON mainnet releases GreatVoyage v4.8.1 (Democritus) upgrade version

Recently, the TRON developer community officially released the mainnet GreatVoyage-v4.8.1 (Democritus) version. This upgrade is mandatory, and developers must complete the update by March 9, 2026, 23:59 (Singapore time) to ensure normal network synchronization and operation.

The Democritus version focuses on introducing ARM64 architecture and JDK 17 support, significantly expanding the node deployment environment. At the same time, adjustments have been made to the SELFDESTRUCT instruction in TVM, fully aligning with the Ethereum EIP-6780 standard, further enhancing cross-ecosystem compatibility. On the network level, the version greatly improves network stability and security through P2P message throttling, synchronization logic, and error code optimization. In addition, the event service, API capabilities, and configuration governance mechanisms have also undergone systematic upgrades, continuously improving the developer experience.
