Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong announced the joining of the government's Trump Accounts initiative, which will match a $1,000 subsidy from the U.S. Treasury for all eligible employees' children. Brian Armstrong expressed a desire to pay this subsidy in the form of Bitcoin.
Trump Accounts aim to establish long-term financial security by creating tax-advantaged investment accounts for U.S. citizens under the age of 18. Currently, several large companies, including Uber, Nvidia, Intel, Broadcom, IBM, and Schwab, have joined the program and incorporated it into their employee benefits systems.
