Morgan Stanley appoints new head of digital asset strategy after submitting cryptocurrency ETF application

According to CoinTelegraph, Morgan Stanley has appointed senior executive Amy Oldenburg as the head of digital asset strategy, who has been working in Morgan Stanley's emerging markets equity team since 2001.

Job postings on LinkedIn indicate that Morgan Stanley is also looking to expand its cryptocurrency team, with positions including Director of Digital Asset Strategy, Digital Asset Strategist, and Head of Digital Asset Products.

Previously, Morgan Stanley submitted applications to list Bitcoin and Solana spot ETFs and plans to launch its own developed digital wallet later this year.
