The amount of ETH waiting in line to join the Ethereum PoS network continues to grow, reaching a new high in 2023

According to market news, since December 26, 2025, the number of ETH waiting to join the Ethereum PoS network has continued to grow, currently reported at 3,068,886 coins, reaching a new high for 2023, valued at approximately $8.98 billion, with an expected activation delay of about 53 days and 7 hours.

This reflects a sustained strong demand for staking, mainly due to companies and institutions like BitMine recently staking a large amount of ETH they hold. On-chain data shows that BitMine has currently staked a total of 1,943,200 ETH, with a total value of approximately $5.69 billion. Meanwhile, the staking exit queue for the Ethereum PoS network has been cleared, and currently, there are no large users choosing to redeem ETH from staking, which means that stakers can now almost immediately withdraw ETH.
