Metaplanet CEO: Whether a company holds BTC is not about belief but about the determination of the management team

The CEO of Japan's Bitcoin treasury company Metaplanet, Simon Gerovich, posted on the X platform, stating that the gap between companies holding Bitcoin and those that do not lies not in the strength of their "faith" in the asset. For most companies, Bitcoin has never even entered the management's discussion agenda; it is not that it was debated and rejected, but rather that it was never brought up at all. Simon Gerovich pointed out that management teams that seriously consider incorporating Bitcoin into their asset allocation have already crossed a threshold that most companies have never approached: they are willing to endure years of being misunderstood by the market during the execution of long-term strategies. For this reason, there are very few companies globally that truly adopt this strategy.
