According to former Fox reporter Eleanor Terrett, the U.S. Senate Banking Committee will hold its first formal amendment review of the "Digital Asset Market Structure Act" (H.R. 3633) on January 15, after the House passed the bill in July 2025.
The Senate version of the text will be submitted to lawmakers on Monday or Tuesday, with key focuses including ethical standards for officials holding digital assets, stablecoin yield attribution, and DeFi regulation. The bill may advance simultaneously with the Agriculture Committee version. If passed, it will lay the foundational framework for cryptocurrency regulation in the United States.
