Crypto.com partners with Stripe to expand cryptocurrency payment scenarios

Crypto.com has announced a partnership with payment service provider Stripe, aiming to help merchants accept cryptocurrency payments more conveniently through product integration. With the integration with Stripe, millions of merchants using Stripe will be able to access Crypto.com Pay, allowing consumers to settle directly using their cryptocurrency asset balances or stablecoins. Stripe will convert the relevant payments into the local fiat currency chosen by the merchants and credit their accounts.

Crypto.com stated that it is the first cryptocurrency platform to achieve "direct balance payment" integration with Stripe. At the same time, Crypto.com will also utilize Stripe's acquiring services to support users in purchasing cryptocurrencies via credit and debit cards, and to promote the expansion of its card products and payment services in the United States. Both parties stated that this collaboration aims to enhance the usability and coverage of cryptocurrency assets in everyday commerce.
