According to the latest data from Coinglass, Bitcoin's return rate in Q4 2025 is -23.07%, far below the historical average of 77.07% and the median of 47.73%, marking the second worst quarterly return rate in history, only behind the Q4 2018 return rate of -42.16%. Meanwhile, Ethereum's Q4 return rate is -28.28%, setting the fourth worst quarterly return rate in history.

In addition, Bitcoin's monthly return rate for December 2025 is -2.97%, while Ethereum's is -0.65%.
