Hassett: U.S. inflation below target, Federal Reserve has ample room to cut interest rates

According to Jinshi, U.S. White House economic advisor Hassett stated in an interview with Fox Business that President Trump’s view on inflation being low is correct. Hassett pointed out that when assessing inflation, one should focus on the three-month moving average price pressures. The current inflation rate is about 1.6%, below the Federal Reserve's target of 2%, which gives the Federal Reserve "ample room" to cut interest rates.
