The Bolivia Blockchain Association proposed to the government to tokenize precious metals such as gold on Ethereum

According to CriptoNoticias, members of the Bolivia Blockchain Association plan to submit a proposal to the president aimed at tokenizing gold and other precious metals on the Ethereum network.

The proposal aims to tokenize gold and other precious metals on Ethereum, achieving full traceability from mining to national reserves, in an effort to curb corruption. The proposed model mimics the approach of the Kingdom of Bhutan, which issued a gold token backed by its sovereign reserves on the Solana network in December 2025.
