Binance contract API update may launch stock perpetual contracts

According to The Block, Binance's contract API has added a new REST endpoint in the update---POST /fapi/v1/stock/contract---for users to sign the "TradFi-Perps Agreement Contract," which is typically required before trading traditional finance-related perpetual contracts. This may suggest that preparations for stock perpetual futures are underway. However, the CEX has not officially announced the launch, and as of the time of publication, there are no product details available for release.
