BitGo announced that starting from the first week of December, it will increase support for the IOTA mainnet, allowing users to manage IOTA tokens and other assets.
As a leading digital asset infrastructure company, BitGo supports over 4,900 institutions, enterprises, and exchanges globally, regulated by the South Dakota Division of Banking in the United States, and insures against theft, loss, and misuse of keys for up to $250 million. With BitGo's support for the IOTA mainnet, institutions, exchanges, and users can access IOTA through a regulated and insured custody framework, while exchanges partnering with BitGo can now securely offer IOTA to their customers, and market makers gain greater operational flexibility.
In addition, BitGo also provides applications such as trading, lending, and programmable money, allowing developers and institutions to leverage BitGo's extensive infrastructure to explore innovative applications of IOTA tokens while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. By increasing support for the IOTA mainnet, BitGo also provides a compliant and recognized pathway for U.S. institutions to enter the IOTA ecosystem, further enhancing IOTA's participation in the U.S. digital asset space.
