About Totalis

Totalis is a derivatives layer built on prediction markets. It lets users combine 2-5 individual prediction market outcomes into a single parlay position, settled in USDC on Solana. Instead of an order book, Totalis uses a quote request system where market makers compete to offer the best combined odds.

The core problem Totalis addresses is capital inefficiency and fragmentation in prediction markets. Without parlay functionality, users must place separate bets on each event and post collateral for every position individually. Totalis also enables portfolio-level margining, meaning collateral reflects the worst-case loss across the whole book rather than each leg separately, which reduces capital requirements. Additionally, by aggregating markets from multiple venues, it removes the need to move funds across platforms.

In the past six months, Totalis introduced early cashout, allowing users to exit positions before settlement. It also launched shareable parlay cards and profile pages, added crypto and sports market sections, and began generating yield on locked collateral. The platform currently supports Kalshi as its primary venue, with Polymarket integration planned.

Key risks: every leg must win for the parlay to pay out, leverage amplifies losses, and the platform remains early-stage with limited venue coverage.

Updated: Sep 4, 2026

In spring 2026, Eric Liu and Pravesh Mansharamani founded Totalis, joining Y Combinator's Spring 2026 batch as a derivatives layer for prediction markets.

In April 2026, Totalis raised a $500K seed investment from YC, paid entirely in USDC via three Solana transactions, making it the first YC company to receive full funding in stablecoin.

On May 25, 2026, Totalis launched its parlay product, allowing combinations of 2-5 events across venues like Kalshi and Polymarket, using RFQ pricing and non-custodial Solana vaults, with 3.1% yield on locked capital. This marks the evolution of prediction markets from single-event trading to structured derivatives.

Key progress:

In April 2026, Y Combinator made its first fully stablecoin-backed investment of $500K USDC to Totalis on Solana, marking a milestone in blending traditional VC with DeFi infrastructure.

On May 25, 2026, Totalis launched prediction-market parlays on Solana, enabling multi-event trades across politics, crypto, sports, etc., with 3.1% yield on locked capital and instant market-maker quotes.

Future roadmap:

Building the derivatives layer for prediction markets, with structured products such as baskets, hedges, spreads, and more capital-efficient market-making.

Chain-agnostic infrastructure; hiring quantitative traders to model event correlations, pricing, and risk.
