PayPal stablecoin PYUSD market capitalization rises from 1.2 billion to 3.8 billion dollars

According to Cryptopolitan, the market capitalization of PayPal's PYUSD stablecoin has surged from a low of $1.2 billion in September to approximately $3.8 billion currently.

In November, the supply of PYUSD increased by about 113%, and the trading volume grew by 150%, reaching 1.8 million transactions. Although PYUSD is relatively new compared to Tether's USDT and Circle's USDC, it became the second fastest-growing stablecoin in the third quarter of 2025, only behind Ethena's USDe (which grew by 173% during the same period). This growth is primarily attributed to PayPal's extensive network.
