Multicoin co-founder: The only way to achieve effective price discovery is to unlock 100% of the tokens on the first day of launch

Multicoin co-founder Kyle Samani posted on X: "For years, I have been advocating for projects I invest in to have 100% unlock on Day 1, as it is the only way to achieve effective price discovery. The team that came closest to doing this is Solana, which had a large unlock in the 9th month."

Kyle Samani further stated that another option worth considering is team lock-up while investors do not lock up. This approach makes sense because investors have already completed their work ------ they funded the project, task completed; employees have not yet completed their work ------ they need to continue working. A mechanism based on price or time-triggered unlock could be adopted to make it easier for employees to accept this model.
