A Russian man was arrested for attacking a cryptocurrency exchange with a replica grenade

According to Decrypt, a 21-year-old Russian man was arrested for attempting to rob a cryptocurrency exchange in St. Petersburg.

Reportedly, the suspect broke into the exchange's office located in an apartment hotel on Khersonska Street last Saturday, detonating two Airsoft replica grenades and igniting smoke bombs, then demanding that employees transfer all available cryptocurrency into his wallet. Experts confirmed after inspection that the devices used were non-destructive replicas.
