Alpine Fox LP founder Mike Alfred posted, "Institutions are doing everything they can to manipulate perpetual contracts and futures derivatives, trying to drive down the price of Bitcoin and intimidate investors into selling, which is one of the biggest scams in the market." BitMine Chairman Tom Lee retweeted and expressed his agreement.
