According to a report by the newspaper, Ma Zhitang, Vice President and Chief Information Officer of WeBank, stated that the bank will focus on developing Web 3 and artificial intelligence businesses in Hong Kong in the future, planning to establish a local blockchain system and anti-money laundering solutions that are more in line with Hong Kong regulations.
