The U.S. prosecution requests a retrial for the MIT brothers accused of stealing $25 million in cryptocurrency

According to Bloomberg, U.S. federal prosecutors are seeking a retrial for two brothers accused of stealing approximately $25 million in cryptocurrency from Ethereum blockchain traders.
According to court documents filed Monday evening, government lawyers have requested that Manhattan federal district judge Jessica Clarke schedule a new fraud trial for brothers James and Anton Peraire-Bueno as early as February of next year. Both are recent graduates of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
