The TRON mainnet is about to upgrade to GreatVoyage-v4.8.1: Comprehensive improvement of system compatibility and network performance

According to official news from TRON, its mainnet is expected to release the GreatVoyage-v4.8.1 (Democritus) version in November 2025. This upgrade will bring several key improvements aimed at further enhancing system compatibility, network performance, and overall stability, laying a solid foundation for the long-term evolution of the TRON mainnet.

According to the official technical documentation, the GreatVoyage-v4.8.1 version includes support for ARM architecture and JDK 17, further expanding the system runtime environment; it also completes compatibility with the changes to the SELFDESTRUCT instruction in the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) to continuously improve EVM consistency. In addition, this upgrade covers node network optimization, API performance improvements, security updates, and database performance adjustments, which will significantly enhance the mainnet's operational efficiency and node synchronization stability.
