StakeWise DAO: Has recovered approximately $20.7 million in stolen assets from the Balancer hacker

The liquid staking protocol StakeWise DAO announced that its emergency multi-signature team has executed multiple transactions, successfully recovering approximately 5,041 osETH (about $19 million) and 13,495 osGNO (about $1.7 million) from the Balancer attacker, totaling approximately $20.7 million.

According to the team, the recovered osETH accounts for about 73.5% of the total stolen amount on that day, while the remaining portion is difficult to trace as the attacker quickly exchanged it for ETH. All stolen osGNO has been recovered. StakeWise stated that these assets will be returned to affected users based on their balance proportions before the attack, and they plan to release a complete event review and follow-up plan in the near future.
