西联汇款拟推出基于 Solana 区块链构建的稳定币 USDPT

ChainCatcher 消息，据华尔街日报报道，西联汇款（Western Union）计划推出一款以美元为背书的稳定币，以便其 1 亿客户在进行国际汇款时，能够摆脱当地货币波动和风险的困扰。这款名为 U.S. Dollar Payment Token（简称 USDPT）的稳定币将基于 Solana 区块链构建，并由数字银行 Anchorage Digital Bank 发行。
该数字代币预计于 2026 年上半年上线，客户可通过西联汇款的合作交易所进行交易。西联汇款表示，客户借助该稳定币在全球范围内汇款，或可降低成本并加速交易结算。
