Solana Saga has been discontinued after just two years of release, shifting its focus to the second-generation model Seeker

ChainCatcher news, Solana Mobile announced the termination of software and security updates for its first crypto phone, Saga, ending the product lifecycle of just over two years since its launch in May 2023. According to the official announcement, approximately 20,000 Saga devices worldwide will no longer receive further support.

Saga attracted attention with its Seed Vault wallet feature, but after a brief meme coin airdrop craze, sales fell short of expectations, dropping from around $1,000 to $599 within four months of its launch. Solana Mobile has now shifted its focus to the second-generation product, Seeker, set to launch this summer.
