ChainCatcher news, according to Jin Shi reports, U.S. Treasury Secretary Becerra stated on Wednesday that he plans to submit a list of three to four candidates for the Federal Reserve Chair to Trump for interviews and to decide on the next Federal Reserve Chair after Thanksgiving. Becerra pointed out that Trump will make a decision after hearing from dozens or even hundreds of people. Regarding the criteria for replacing the current Chair Powell, Becerra stated that one of the criteria is to maintain an open mind. Powell's term as Chair will end in May next year.
