ChainCatcher news, according to two anonymous sources, the Unity game engine is quietly rolling out a patch for a vulnerability that allows third-party code to run in Android-based mobile games, which could target mobile crypto wallets.

According to the sources, the vulnerability affects projects since 2017 and primarily impacts Android, although Windows, macOS, and Linux systems are also affected to varying degrees. Unity has begun privately distributing the patch and standalone fix tools to selected partners, but public guidance is not expected to be released until next Monday or Tuesday.
