ChainCatcher news, according to Jinshi reports, the job vacancies in the United States saw almost no growth in August, indicating that labor demand remains relatively stable. According to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, job vacancies increased from a revised 7,210,000 in July to 7,230,000. Since peaking in early 2022, job vacancies have gradually declined and have remained within a relatively narrow range over the past year. Federal Reserve Chairman Powell pointed out the weakness in the labor market, and although other officials share similar concerns, many are cautious about further rate cuts due to inflation still being above the central bank's target.
