ChainCatcher news, according to Jinshi reports, Federal Reserve Governor Milan stated that if interest rates are not quickly lowered, the Federal Reserve will face the risk of economic damage. He believes that the current policy interest rate is between 4% and 4.25%, which is much higher than his estimate of the "neutral" level. Milan emphasized the importance of quickly adjusting interest rates and pointed out that under restrictive monetary policy, the economy is more susceptible to downward shocks. He believes that a continuous rate cut of 50 basis points can be implemented in the short term, followed by a reassessment of monetary policy.
