According to ChainCatcher news, as reported by Jinshi, the U.S. Senate Banking Committee voted along party lines on Wednesday to support the nomination of Trump's advisor Stephen Milan for a short-term position as a Federal Reserve governor. The committee passed the nomination with a vote of 13 to 11, and Milan is expected to receive confirmation from the full Senate on Monday. The Federal Reserve will hold a meeting next week, and the market widely expects a rate cut for the first time since last December.
