Tether executives meet with major financial institutions in South Korea to discuss stablecoin collaboration

ChainCatcher news, according to Cryptonews citing South Korean media MoneyS, on September 8, several executives from Tether met with Jin Ok-dong, chairman of Shinhan Financial Group, to discuss stablecoin collaboration.

In addition, Cho Young-seo, vice president of KB Kookmin Bank, is expected to meet with Tether representatives on September 10; KEB Hana and Woori had preliminary contacts on August 26, and Tether also plans to communicate with the new bank Toss during this visit.
