SharpLink CEO: Satoshi Nakamoto may reappear due to threats from quantum computing

ChainCatcher news, according to Decrypt, SharpLink Gaming co-CEO Joseph Chalom proposed a bold theory that Bitcoin's anonymous founder Satoshi Nakamoto may re-emerge when quantum computing poses a survival threat to Bitcoin. Experts predict that quantum computing could break Bitcoin's encryption system within the next decade, and the community is discussing quantum defenses, including hard forks and how to handle the approximately 1.1 million Bitcoins (worth over $12 billion) held by Nakamoto. Chalom speculates that Nakamoto might speak through old accounts that have been dormant for years to protect his interests, but may not necessarily reveal his true identity.
