Monex increases its control over 3iQ to 97.8%, at a price of 45.84 million Canadian dollars

ChainCatcher news, according to an announcement from BeInCrypto and the Monex Group, Japan's Coincheck parent company Monex has acquired an additional 20.6% stake in Canadian crypto asset manager 3iQ Digital Holdings, with a transaction price of 45.84 million Canadian dollars (approximately 31 million USD), raising its voting rights proportion to about 97.8%.
It is reported that 3iQ's assets under management have increased by 39% year-on-year to 1.51 billion Canadian dollars in the past year, and it has launched Solana staking ETF and XRP ETF on the Toronto Stock Exchange this year.
