GOAT Network has accumulated 34 BTC to establish an ecological pilot fund, aiming to drive Bitcoin ecosystem incentives with native BTC

ChainCatcher news, the Bitcoin native ZK Rollup network GOAT Network has announced that it has accumulated 34 BTC and officially launched it as the Ecosystem Pilot Fund. GOAT Network stated that it is the first Bitcoin Layer 2 network to launch an ecological incentive mechanism based on native BTC.

The fund aims to promote the sustainable implementation of Bitcoin native zkRollup application ecology, with funds primarily used to support protocol liquidity, community incentives, and developer contribution rewards. Currently, over 2 BTC have been used for liquidity pools and sustainable yield distribution mechanisms, which have been actually distributed to community participants.

GOAT Network stated that this 34 BTC ecological pilot fund is just the starting point of the BTC native incentive system. Next, the project will launch a complete Ecosystem Development Fund, which will include open funding applications, milestone-based support, and incentive mechanisms for long-term contributors, injecting sustainable growth momentum into the Bitcoin ecosystem.
