SoFi partners with Lightspark to enable Bitcoin Lightning Network for global remittance services

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, SoFi Technologies is about to implement remittance payments on the Bitcoin Layer 2 network—Lightning Network—through a partnership with Lightspark, aiming to provide its users with real-time international transfer services.

SoFi announced that it will integrate the Lightspark Universal Monetary Address (UMA) running on the Bitcoin Lightning Network to support nearly instant cross-border payments.
