Bakkt releases Q2 financial report: Total revenue increased by 13.3% year-on-year to nearly $580 million, advancing Bitcoin reserve strategy

ChainCatcher news, the New York Stock Exchange-listed digital asset custody and trading platform Bakkt has released its quarterly financial and operational performance report for the period ending June 30, 2025, disclosing that the company's total revenue from crypto services for the quarter reached $577.9 million, a year-on-year increase of 13.3%, with total operating expenses of $596.4 million, a year-on-year increase of 12.1%.
In addition, $75 million was raised in the second quarter to strengthen the balance sheet and further advance the Bitcoin financial strategy, acquiring the Tokyo-listed company MarushoHotta to launch Bakkt's Bitcoin financial strategy in Japan.
