Digital Asset plans to raise 3 million Canadian dollars to support its subsidiary in instant settlement of BTC on the Lightning Network

according to GlobeNewswire, publicly traded company Digital Asset Technologies announced a private placement financing of 3 million Canadian dollars by issuing up to 3,000 units of convertible debentures (at a price of 1,000 Canadian dollars per unit).

It is reported that the funds will be used to help its subsidiary LiquidLink build high liquidity infrastructure for instant settlement of Bitcoin, stablecoins, and real-world assets (RWA) on the Lightning Network.
