The Polimec decentralized financing platform in the Polkadot ecosystem announces the cessation of operations

the Polkadot ecosystem decentralized financing platform Polimec announced that, after multiple efforts, the project will be forced to cease all commercial operations. Due to changes in the market environment, active user participation has fallen far below expectations, especially with the investment demand for Substrate-based tokens nearly disappearing, making it difficult for the project to be self-sustaining.

Despite the team's continuous efforts and maintaining high standards of compliance, it has become unsustainable to continue operations due to resource depletion. Polimec will support users in withdrawing assets to Polkadot or Asset Hub as planned, and ensure that investors participating in the financing rounds will receive the mainnet tokens corresponding to their participation.

Polimec was established in 2022 with the goal of creating a decentralized, community-driven, and regulatory-compliant financing protocol. In 2024, the platform successfully launched a real-time parachain and supported the financing of three projects.
